Privacy Policy

catscribe is built to collect as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, no ad trackers, and we never sell or share your data.

What we process

Audio files. Your audio is uploaded over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and processed on our own server. The audio file is deleted immediately after transcription finishes.

Transcripts. Transcription results are stored on our server so you can download them, and are automatically deleted after 7 days. For paying users, transcript downloads are additionally encrypted in transit.

Device fingerprint. Since there is no login, we identify your device with an anonymous browser fingerprint to keep track of your free minutes and any purchased minutes. It cannot be used to identify you personally.

Email address. Only if you buy minutes or claim purchased minutes do we store the email you provide, so your balance can be restored on a new device.

Payments. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Meeting summaries (catlog). If you use our meeting recorder, the finished transcript is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the summary, then handled like any other transcript (auto-deleted after 7 days).

Your rights

You can ask us to delete any data linked to your email or device at any time. Contact: alex@admitted.dk.
